Not the usual kind, you stroll past a worn welcome mat or a sleepy rocking chair, but a stunning, graphic mural underfoot, awash in vibrant colors and playful organic shapes. It’s the kind of porch that makes you stop and smile. The kind that makes you realize you’re witnessing something intentional.
What makes this particular porch special is that the artwork was created by Kristen Medford, a professional photographer based in Savannah, Georgia. Kristen is best known for her evocative portrait and lifestyle photography, capturing the soul of a moment with a natural sense of intimacy and color. Moreover, she’s also a multidisciplinary artist and a Savannah College of Art and Design graduate who brings creative vision to everything she touches, including porch floors.
